1. Ralph decided that he wanted to blow the conch to call an assembly so that they can get Piggy's specs back and so that they can still keep the signal fire on.
2. On the beginning of the story, the twins thinks of Ralph as a person that is organized, and that he can handle the boys since that they have their vote for Ralph as chief. Now, he is showing his aggressive side and they never expected it from him.
3. The boy's attempt to get Piggy's specs and get the signal fire going on failed because they won't listen to him anymore. Even though Jack doesn't have the conch, he is now their new leader.
4. I think that Roger was pushing rocks from the cliff because he wants to show that he is also powerful.
5. The destruction of the conch represents that they are all living in an uncivilized life now. They have been on the island for a long time now and their evil sides are showing up.
6. For most boys, they wanted a chief because they know that they can make their way to get out of the island with Ralph's help. They are civilized when they are under the laws or rules of their chief.
7. Why do you feel happy when you are killing someone and something?
Do you think that living a savage life will make you and the boys successful in terms of trying too get rescued from the island?
8. Now that everyone has been on this island for a long time, the boys' attitude changed. Jack and his tribe goes around killing some boys and keeps hunting. They lost their civilization. Even if Ralph had the conch, Jack was their new chief because he has more power than anyone else. Now, everyone is scared that if they don't obey him, they will suffer a big consequence from him.
